I'm changing my plugs and wires, and need to remove the SAI pipe. I'm not sure I can pull it out without disconnecting both heater hoses. The RAVE workshop manual says something about draining the cooling system before I do this. Is that true any time you take these hoses off, or just for when you're removing the whole heater system?

When I did my wires I did disconnect the hoses without draining, a little came out but nothing to worry about.
