First I did a search on my topic and unfortunately couldn't find anything on it (possibly I used the incorrect key words).


On the rear sunroof on my 2003 D2, there are sun shades that you can roll in and out. The right sun shade hook is broken and I need to replace it.


Does anyone know how to replace the sunroof sun shades?

You have to remove the sunroof drip pan. The shades are attached to that. Might have to remove the headliner as well. Could be a really good opportunity to repair any and all roof leaks.

 

There are three small plastic tabs that will need to be pushed out to release the old shade assembly from the tray. You'll have the old shades out in seconds. If you need a good replacement set of shades let me know. I have plenty in stock.
