Got some knocking and wobble going on from the pump shaft. I've decided from scouring the forums, that I'll be replacing the pump with the HD pump with bronze impellor from bputah.com, and that I'll buy it a new "dance partner" fan clutch at the same time.
I'm a little confused as to whether or not I can use one of the recommended Chevy clutches on my 04. If so, can someone please tell me which one to order, and whether it will need mods to fit? Thanks much!

The fan/clutch assembly on '03/'04 models does not separate the way it does on earlier models. If you want to experiment with alternate clutches you're going to have to pick up an earlier DII fan.
