Thanks all for the write up and diagrams. I found this 15" dental looking tool at Princess Auto and decided to give it a go. Only removed air box top and MAF, unhooked the wiring along the firewall and dug in. The bends allowed for pulling and poking and aiming and holding and all done with very little drama.
Cheers!

Hey Duke
I don't have a part # but there were 3 options at Princess Auto, which is like Harbour Freight in the US: A 90 deg "square", a "hook" and then this one which was maybe called an "angle"? All had a 15" shaft, which is about 35cm up here.
This one was a gem lining up the wires even on the bottom row of the coil. If you twist it once the wire is lined up, the point will push against the firewall and the bend will seat the wire and it clicks right in the coil.
Cheers
AL

I want to say THANK YOU TO DISCO MIKE!!! What a true hero and savior he is! I appreciate you taking time from your busy personal time to help with my lack of knowledge. It made this possible.

That being said- I HOPE TO NEVER HAVE TO DO THESE WIRES AGAIN!! What a nightmare! Had to remove the UI and all the darn harnesses and broken plastic pipes, etc. Wow. What a job this really is. I am not small, so I suppose it can be done. If you have SAI and are larger like me, then prepare for a day of busted knuckles, blood, and losing your religion. (RANT OVER)

I still have one grey connection that needs to be made. I cannot remember where it goes. It is on the drivers side, close to the SAI pump on the drivers side. Has one of those U clips that keeps in in place. I cannot remember where this goes! Please help! After all that I have been through with this car the past 2 weeks, THIS is the last connection. Anyone? Please help!

SAI Pump is on the pass. side. Do you mean the SAI solenoid?

Perhaps the IACV connector?

I should have been clearer. My apologies everyone. The SAI twin canisters? is on each side. I am going to shoot a photo and make sure I can connect these properly. I should also mention that this connection is in tandem with another BLACK connection coming from the front of the motor. I do not know what it is specifically, and want to make sure I did not cross connect them.

Other than that, the two upstream o2 Sensors need to be replaced. I have the parts, but wondered if there is a good way and a not so good way to replace these. Suggestions? I will send a photo of this later today and hopefully it can be resolved. I saw the photo ^^^^ and it did not look as though it has SAI on it. ANY suggestions are welcome, and appreciated.

Kevin

That can with the green sticker and two rubber hoses, in the photo, is what I'm talking about. It's on SAI and non SAI cars. If you notice in the upper right corner of the photo, it has a grey connector like you mentioned.

Here are the photos of the harnesses in question. One black, one grey. The screwdriver points to the grey. Any help is appreciated.
