Default replaced ball joints and now....

my steering feels VERY tight. When I first pressed them in and then installed the steering knuckle, to turn the steering knuckle by hand was VERY difficult. Is it normal for this to be tight with new uppers and lowers? (only did one side). Feels ok with the power steering, but that's tough to tell since I need to line it all up now.

Thoughts?

They will be tighter. As long as you torqued them to spec you should be good.
