I tackled it its actually pretty easy to do drivers door
Didn't have to remove door handle just the one 10 mm bolt at bottom of inside door that holds window frame the rest is easy just remove the one Philips and 3 torx screws

My old actuator still kinda works you can hit the lock button twice it licks just won't open
Do I have any use for this part or just pitch it in the garbage ??

Btw for those who live in Ontario Canada lakeshore landrover dealer sells these actuators for 145 new don't bother looking at used ones or even new ones online

 

Need to replace acuator unit (latch& motor assembly) for my 2003 D2, could you list a step-by-step how you did it? I had troubles to remove it out of the door. Some say no need to remove window frame which I didn't...
