Default replacement screw for oil dipstick

When I replaced my valve cover gaskets recently, the screw head was completely corroded. I ultimately had to grind down the head of the screw to get it off. It easily unscrewed when I had the cover off but I have no idea what I did with it to duplicate the threads and replace it. Anyone know?

Thank you Jeff that is the one. I wish they had a better description. That looks like a screw I can pick up at the local hardware store.

It probably is - but knowing LR it probably isn't! I gave up trying to find correct replacement hardware for this car and just order the right LR part to save my sanity.

If I did that then I would not have the cool brass nipple on my vacuum hose on the upper intake. After I broke the plastic one.

I lost my dipstick screw and tried about a dozen that just would not fit. I went to the junkyard last week and pulled that screw off of every P38 and D2 in the yard. Screwed right in and all is right with the world with 2 extras in my pocket! I think most of us have the brass air compressor fitting at the vacuum Intake after the last tune-up.
