Default Replacement Subs

I have a blown sub in the rear door so I am going to go ahead and replace both. I was looking at some on Cruchfield but I don't really know anything about car audio. What kind should I get? What does the watts RMS power range and frequency response mean? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

While looking on Cruchfield I found this. Is this a good deal and would it work on a 2000 Discovery with Harman Kardon sound system?

Sony XDP-PK1000 Digital Link Sound System Digital signal processor, 12" sub, sub amplifier, and cradle for iPhone® or iPod touch® at Crutchfield.com

There is a write up in the DI tech section on this, Wal-Mart, $25.
Also Amazon for like $30 for better ones.

Watts is the max power the speakers can take before they start to distort the sound, the thing you need to worry most about is the ohms, it'll either be 4 or 8, match that, then worry about watts.
You dont want speakers that are 50 watts if your stereo can put out 100 watts.
But also keep in mind that 75 watt speakers will do the job because to put out all 100 watts you would need the volume turned all the way up.
Frequency response is the range of sound they can reproduce.
They are subs so it will be a small range.
