Are replacement window regulator glides still available?

They are fairly easy to repair even easier with a lathe and workshop. However, new window regulators are very cheap anyway.

Ralph, I notice you are in Austin as well. if you have your regulator out in the future, I would like to come see how you did this with the nut rivet and tapered flat head screw. Could you PM me? I live in Cedar Park/Austin,....I'd like to come check it out.

Or, perhaps you could do a mock-up of how you put this together if you happen to have an old regulator about (or how about a paint stirrer stick with a hole drilled in it to simulate the regulator arm) and another screw, washer, riv-nut....then shoot some pics for us?

Bryan, could you give us some details on this fix. Maybe a pic of the bits you used?? Ive tried several of these DIY fixes,...no luck yet. (other than the no longer available LRD2ME snap in rollers that worked perfectly)
