Disco 1 Square Window Glides (regulator rollers)
Found a short cut to repair damaged window regulator rollers without drilling out the old rollers.
At Home Depot, in furniture pad area, "Slideguide" by Shepard Hardware Products, model 9240H, bar code # 3900309240. These are one inch square teflon furniture sliders, designed to screw into the bottom of a heavy desk, etc. About $5 for a pack of 8.
Remove the self adhesive pad and metal internal washer, and sand or file down the thickness to allow the square to slide easily in the reglaor track. Use a razor blade to cut between the center and one edge.
You can then push the square teflon unit around the existing metal stud that previously held the roller. Of course, we assume that the roller has cracked off, or has been cleared away, and the reglator track end opened up to allow insertion.
Align the cut to be horizontal, the top and bottom edge of the regulator track will keep it from expanding.
Lube with your choice, and don't forget to crimp the end of the track slightly.

i just used this method to repair my regulator. instead of cutting the roller i increased the diameter with a dremel and snapped it onto the regulator stud. i greased the track with moly. i chose moly so it doesn't collect dirt and grime. thanks for the tip!
