Default replacing catalytic converter ?

Hi I'm looking to replace the catalytic converter on my 99 D1. Any suggestions for brands? I've noticed the two most popular are the magnaflows & catcos. Also what size inlet & outlet do I need 2.25" or 2.5"? Lastly only my drivers side cat is rumbling so can I just replace that one or should I do both at the same time? I have about 115,000 miles. Thanks for you input.

First, with your mileage replace both. Second find out and repair what ever killed your cat, be it plugs, wire, coolant leak bad injectors or whatever otherwise the new one may not last long.
Here is one site to shop around on, http://www.completeexhaust.com/produ...roducts_id=184

On Disco I's Land Rover said to replace the cat's at 96,000 miles in a service book I have.

I waited to last week and 113k but went with a preformance Y-pipe with cat's and new O'2 sensors.

So replace both that way the ECU can read both sides as =.

I'm going to order the magnaflow catalytic converters. Do you happen to know the part number that you used? Will this one off of ebay work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Land-...2em118Q2el1247

You can get a better catalytic converter from Magnaflow for less than the dealer. I used, Magnaflow Catalytic Converters at CWIK as they had the best prices and free shipping.
