Are you talking about the door latch actuator?
Might wan't to down load a free Rave CD which will give you all the information.

Click the link for the RAVE manual in my signature. The lock actuator is pretty easy to replace.

problem.. i got the panel off and wanted to see if the actuator worked so i hooked it up to the plug and the doors do not open... it does the same thing as with the other one.. what could be the problem? do i have to reset it? when i hit the open button on the keyless, there is a click under the driver dash. i would think this is the circuit but maybe not? any help apreciated... i might just reinstall the original actuator??

ok so maybe some more info might help... the doors lock, but do not unlock using the key, keyless, and the button in the car... the driver side opens only when using the key. no other door on the vehicle opens, even when I pull the handles. if I pull the lock itself up by hand, it springs back to the lock position.

You must have the super lock turned on. When in super lock the only way that the locks will open is with the buttons on the key. Search in the forum for super lock and I am sure that it will tell you the way to turn it off. I think that it has something to do with sticking the key in the door and turning it 3 times. Good luck.

Ok so I'm going to try a new battery in the fob then I guess I will try a new fuse box. Which one is it? The one under the dash or the hood that houses the idm? Thanks
