Certain diagnostic tests could narrow it down fairly easily.

I work on these two things with my patients all the time.
Great info - I mountain bike and started running a bit again and hate to say it, but rarely stretch appropriately.
I never sit on my wallet anymore so I'll pay more attention to the tightness and stretch more.

I thought of George immediately when I read the advice... LOL

Thankfully, I stopped sitting on my wallet a long time ago. It usually goes in my lunch bag before I leave the house.
Thanks guys for the comments.

I think the fact that you got the reference for Seinfeld and you have a Bilbo quote in your signature makes us friends...lol

I moved the drivers side cupholder to the passenger side to give my leg more angle. Its in the mods. I experience similar leg falling asleep issues In my Silverado if I drive more than 3 hours without stretching.
Used to travel the world. Long flights sucked.
My findings are the same...my Silverado is the worse for leg numbness...and some vehicles are just worse than others. Get it little with the Dll, but moving the wallet to a front pocket has made a hugh difference. I've considered moving the cupholder on several occasions, too...but haven't yet.

Stretching makes a hugh difference, too..before long trips.

Brian.

So - not knowing whom may or may not care about any outcome of this topic/issue, I thought I'd offer an update.

While I did do the mod to be able to move the seat back, the steering wheel is so damn close to the dash, moving the seat back almost did no good at all.
The steering wheel needs about a 1-2" extension on it for the combo to work right.

However, and the main point of my update is this -

My foot falling asleep has zero to do with the D2.
While mountain biking a couple of weeks ago, my entire right leg started tingling in the same fashion my foot would while driving.
The proverbial light bulb went off when I took notice of my neck pain - my neck hurts often when I bike and I never had anyone diagnosis it.

I reached out to @KC_Rover and found that he's a chiropractor - my wife also suggested I consult a chiropractor so I did.
So I'm "out of alignment" - immediately he found one leg longer than the other and performed hip alignment, then back, neck etc.
I've been to him for 3 sessions now and the foot falling asleep is all but gone - as of my last 30 min drive home, I'd say its completely gone.

The neck is obviously very closely tied to all things nerve related and was the ultimate cause of my issues.
Still working on it but progress so far is quite obvious.

Also, as with a lot of people with desk jobs, I tend to hunch forward slightly and it was obvious in my xrays.
I know have an unwanted curvature in my neck.
This video addresses it specifically and I'm now doing these stretches.

Hope this helps

Looking at this damn tablet all the time doesn't help either...lol.

Yep, stretching is key to mobility.

Glad you are finding some relief.

New to the Two’s post is what I did, and lots of my problems have gone away. I didn’t have foot falling asleep. My right arm tingled when driving and yes, changing position helped but I didn’t want to have to move my normal driving position

This is by far the strangest thread on this forum. I can’t believe there are this many responses.
