Ring with Hayden 2991 fan clutch
I just got the Dorman 620-112 Fan Blade and the Hayden 2991 Fan Clutch.
I was not expecting to find a metal ring with the fan clutch.
Seems if the ring is installed it will be a very tight fit for the 36mm wrench to get in there when removing it if you also want to use the tool that holds 2 of the bolts steady so you can get leverage with the 36mm wrench.
From past experience, is the ring necessary or don't use it?
