Default Rooftop Cargo for Discovery

Hi,
I have a 2000 Discovery II and am looking for a rooftop (hard) cargo carrier. Most say they will fit most roof racks (Thule/Yakima, etc.). Does anyone have one now? I don't want to purchase one and then have the thing not fit. Thanks!

Do you currently have a roof rack or just the roof rails?
Disco won't carry a lot of roof weight, tend to get very top heavy and unstable.

The first thing you need to do is get the crossbars, I have Yakima bars. They attach to your roof rails. Then you can get a hard cargo carrier.

Got one, I have Yakima cross bars mounted on Land rover roof rail extentions and a huge packasport type fiberglass roof top cargo carrier. Here's a pic from last winter. Works great.
