Last question....Would it help to add a quart of Rislone and the rest Rotella? There is SOME ticking (lifter chatter). I am going with 15w40 and I was considering adding 1 quart of Rislone plus 5.5 quarts of Rotella T 15w40 with a Mobil 1 High capacity filter. The truck is running smooth , just a little noisy for my taste (not bad). I just want to hear nothing but exhaust note when running, like the rest of my cars. I guess I am just funny that way.

 

I would say try the 15w-40 first. It quieted my truck down to no noise and no leaks.

Hey I lived in Garland for over 30 years. My Grandparents lived in Wylie. Do you remember the house that exploded because of gas leak on First Street years back? Those were my Grandparents.

 

Hey, small world. It sounds familiar but I've only been in Wylie the last 6 years. Before that I was in Commerce, TX for 5 years. Thankfully not too many houses have blown up recently. Thanks for sharing. :-)
