I just went through the rave - I think you are you referring to the front shaft? I don't see a bearing in the rear shaft. I think, you're thinking of the centering ball in the front cardan joint.

But... A quick look at AB's site brings this. Is the bearing the little black/silver cylindrical component on the bottom left??

Yes, it's more a bushing than a bearing. A torch is ideal, however, not having one I used a Dremel to grind down the old one on opposite sides then squeezed the sides in with a vise then having a little clearance from the driveshaft I cut the thinned metal with a chisel and hammer. The last quarter inch I pried it out with a heavy screwdriver.

That's it...the centering bushing/bearing. I'm going to tackle it this weekend and have slide hammer, dremel, torch and assorted other tools gathered. Gonna see how it goes.

So after inspecting the rotoflex I found that there was numerous cracks on its surface. I thought that this was the cause of my vibration at 70mph +, however after installing it today that's not the case. I still have the vibration at 70mph, but after closure inspection it seems to be more towards the front of the truck...so I'm now thinking more in the front drive line. I've recently greased the U joints and all took new grease until new pumped out. Any thoughts.
