What weight oil do you guys us on your Transmission, transfercase and difs Im do for a change?

 

Well the transmission is just ATF fluid.. Tcase/diffs I use 75w90 Royal purple.

Some like to use 75w140 or what not in their tcase/diffs.

 

Just put RP 75w140 in my diffs. Haven't gotten around to the t-case yet. Transmission use the ATF like Jupiter said.

 

The Max ATF is dexron III compatible. That is what yours takes. I have 85W140 in the X-fer case and diffs. I have 167K on the ticker, so I went with a little heavier to knock out the whine.

 

I used Valvoline Maxlife Dexron III in my transmission and Castrol 85w-140 in my t-case and diffs, I am going to switch to Redline Shock Proof for my diffs and t-case this summer.
