So the engine is stumbling after it warms up and throwing this code for cylinder 4 misfire. are any of these Rockauto plug wires and/or plugs any good or should I be looking elsewhere?
Plug wires:
When was the last time you did plugs and wires? Have you pulled the plug from #4 to see how everything looks?
I can tell you stay away from STI wires on rock auto, I had to swap them out and ended up going with OEM as I didn’t want to pull the intake for a 3rd time.
Slide the boot further up the wire (use lube), then carefully remove the metal terminal from the broken off segment, neatly cut off the end of the remaining good wire and reattach the metal terminal. Slide the boot back down into place and reconnect to the spark plug. Good as new.
I swapped out the wires with some cheapies from the local Auto Parts store and I know this is going to sound bad, but I hope the engineer that decided to put the coils behind the intake gets a bad case of the clap.
The coils were covered up due to the Bosch Intake Design, but they also honestly protect them. I got 235K out of a set of OEM coil packs. They were mounted in pretty much the exact same spot on a 96-99 D1 & 95-99 P38 GEMS. Just the intake design makes it a PITA and D2's with SAI don't help it either. Once you've removed the intake to do the job it's not bad at all. I can usually have the entire intake off in 30min. The trick to SAI equipped D2's or P38's is to remove the studs for the SAI stacks and replace them with bolts. That makes removing the intake a lot easier. There are plenty of short cuts you can do to save time vs what the shop manual says for Intake Removal BTW. Also the intake gasket is metal and I can't count how many times I've just re-used them without issue.
Wire wise STI have never let me down (unless quality has tanked), Kingsborne, and the NGK/Denso stuff isn't bad either. I agree I'd have just pulled a little slack and repaired that lead and called it a day personally. Spark Plug wise #1 NGK, #2 Denso, #3 Autolite. DO NOT use copper core on a Bosch setup you are only making yourself work harder when you have to pull them 10-20k later down the road, use Double Platinum and you won't have to worry about spark plugs for a very long time.

Hang on to the STIs. Don't throw them away. You may want to reinstall them when the cheapies give out.
