Default Runs fine then dies, '01 Disco II

My '01 Disco II had been running fine, until yesterday. I was driving along, everything OK, then the engine just died. I tried to restart, started turned the engine over but nothing, no sputter, nothing. I looked around the engine bay to see if there was something loose then got back in and it started, seemed to run fine, but then died after about 1 min. Tried to restart, same as before, nothing. Called a tow truck, waited around for 30 min tried to start it again. Ir ran fine for 2 blocks and died again. Had it towed home (see my other post). Now it's the next day and I can start it go back and fourth a few feet and it seems OK. I don't want to try and drive it since it will probably die again. Any ideas?

You need a new crank position sensor.

When they start to go bad it will kill the engine once it gets good and hot, cools off and the truck will run, then the truck wont start at all.
You can buy a new one at AutoZone and install it yourself if you are half way mechanical and have a basic set of hand tools.
