Do you have all of the plastic fasteners holding up the hood liner? Mine was sagging and when I looked, I was missing 3 fasteners. I took out one and was able to match it at LOWES.

What type of paint did you use?

I'm thinking about recovering my headliner with suede leather in a similar color. Mine is starting to sag so I gotta do somthing with it. Go big or go home for me as always!

Remove the covers for the A-pillars, remove sun visors and overhead tray from the front. I would leave a couple of screw in to hold it up. You will have to pull all 4 grab bars and the plastic covers around the rear alpine lights. Make sure to unplug both of the interior lights before you try to take it down. Oh, and there are 2 plastic plugs toward the middle that have to be pulled out as well. I would suggest having a partner help you wiggle it out of there.

I assume an XD has no sunroofs?

nope no sunroofs... i wish it did but i am not goin through all the trouble of installing any, it all seems pretty straightforward, most of the interior panels just pop off right? i always hate it when i think a panel just pops off and then after i get it off notice that i just ripped out a screw that was holding it on... i'm not sure what i will recover it with though but i will figure something out... maybe i will cover it with some fabric that looks like the sky, you know like blue with clouds, that way it seems like i have one big sunroof... but that may be a little overdramatic at times...
