You can delete the SAI system and live with the codes with no problems other then the cats taking longer to start to work on a cold start/morning.

deleting the o2s? no sir... the engine uses them in figuring out fuel timing. you could live without the REAR o2's and cats if you dont care about the smell or environment, but why? best you could do is install an aftermarket fuel system with widebands... but again, why? lol the gains would be negligible... people do that to sweet tune multithousand dollar modded engines that have all the supporting need for a ultra precise fuel management and high flow exhuast system

Yup that is the part. But screw 10.95! $33 to replace three mounts... no way.

I just picked up three bolts with the same thread and bolted the pump straight to the mount. The rubber seems to be there just to absorb 'shock'. My pump actually sounds like it works better with having a solid mount instead of the old flimsy rubber things which gave it a lot of wiggle room.

Maybe there's a reason for the rubber that I'm not aware of... but those rubber mounts are stupid.

Who knows? Maybe the SAI pump's motor is so delicate that it can't take road shock? 'No clue. But that IS a lot of money for a little mount.

Default SAI Rubber Mounts

I know this post hasn't been updated for awhile but thought I would point out that Dorman now has a kit with the 3 rubber bolts in it for VW and BMW that works

Dorman Part # 911-901

Rock Auto had it for $10.29 shipped

More Information for DORMAN 911901

hope this helps

you need the SAI. Use LARGE hose clamps to jigger it onto a bar or something.
