Default SAI randomly switches on during driving?

Heh guys,
for a couple of years I've had an occasional issue where my SAI will randomly start up while i'm sat at a stop light. This is after the SAI activates at cold startup as it should.

I took a look in RAVE but couldn't find any guidance on whats going on here. No codes get thrown so i'm at a loss. Only thing I can think of is to replace the solenoid?

Very recent thread and others have mentioned the issue. It happens occasionally with our D2s, including mine and best to ignore. There's no info in the EL, no wiring diagram and limited info in WM. If you change it and it helps please let us know.

Will do. I'll order the solenoid and change it out.

It's been a while but i had that symptom and it went away after replacing the solenoid. At the same time I remember hearing that due to the system not working correctly that the valves were getting gummed up. I didn't do anything about that and i've had no issues since.
