Default Sale at Advance Auto & use of BG44k

I know I read this before, but I wanted to contribute somewhat and repeat to remind people of the sale at Advance Auto for 5 qts Mobil 1 oil and M1 filter for roughly $26 thru May. Heck, in total, you'll save about $5 than if you bought the 5 qt jug at Walmart and the filter separate

Regarding BG44K, if you haven't used it before and I know DiscoMike brought it up in a few posts I've read before, but if you want your Rover to love you back, without a doubt you should spend the $20 dollars and do it tomorrow!! My results: smoother idle, a bit faster acceleration, and improved gas mileage!![sm=smiley20.gif] I've used Seafoam in the tank once before, but what an improvement after this treatment, it's night and day.

Thanks to DiscoMike, others, this forum, I now know much more about my second rover.[sm=happybounce.gif]

Been looking for this stuff. Where do you get it from? Put it where gas or oil? I always said that sea foam was a gimmick.

Seafoam is not a gimmick..rather it is just a "milder" chemical than the BG44k, which is a fuel additive. You put it in the fuel tank. Seafoam is also 1/4 the price of BG44k

Lowill I bought the BG 44k from here. http://www.autobahnpower.com/products.asp?recnumber=542

I also bought a few bottles of the redline fuel system cleaner from the same website. I use it every fill up.

Here is the link on their website to find a local distributor...

http://www.bgfindashop dot com/locator/index.php (remove spaces and dot)

You can also buy it off Ebay, but I just made a few phone calls to find a local shop to sell me a bottle without them doing a full service on the truck.

I used Seafoam once before, not going straight into the injection but only in the gas tank, and I'd say it made a nice difference.

But after I put a can of BK44K along with a full tank of Shell 93 octane, pounded on the truck on the highway for about 3 hours, to me, the truck was turning into a wild horse later on. It gained pep that I probably haven't seen in a long time.

Give a try...you may get the same results.

My local LR dealership sells it for normal price.... if you have a LRship nearby and can bear going in they usualy have it, just ask the parts department. Alot of other dealerships sell it as well if you dont have a LR one.

Enough with the advertising spam already... 7 posts on 7 different threads and they are all the same.

Wish I could find my "ban user" button...

Anyone?

Jiffy Lube sells 44K at most places. I just pull in and they measure out enough for my tank, then I go fill up. Usually runs me under $20. I can stop anywhere I want to before I fill up and get it. Great stuff..
