Hey y’all I plan to call the customer support Monday but thought I reach out here also.

I have the wonderful 3 amigos on a 2002 disco. I was trying to use my innova 5160 to read the abs codes and reset them. but I can’t seem to get a connection?

ive used those scanner on a multitude of cars and it works just great. And it also can read all my disco’s live streams and engines codes and even my cylinder 8 misfire. but I keep getting a connection issue when trying to read the abs system codes?

anyone know if abs system on land rovers can be read by this scan tool?

I do not have experience with that scan tool.
A common fault for the 3 amigos within the shuttle valve is the ground. If no ground - would that give your particular code reader an error?

 

It’s best to own a dedicated Land Rover diagnostic tool to correctly read and clear fault codes.

 

Is the Nanocom still the best thing going? I want to get one but can't quite figure out which one is the best to get? It seems Nanocom? Products - NCOM04 Discovery II Motronic Petrol V8 kit - NANOCOM Diagnostics (nanocom-diagnostics.com) And before the jokesters come yes, I understand that "Testbook" is technically the "best thing going"

 

That’s essentially the one I have and it is excellent. The kit I bought has the green cable instead of the blue one so it works on both the D2 and the P38.

 

+1 for the Nanocom Motronic V8 package. Amazing bit of kit as the Brits say.
