Default Scanning gauges (dash)

Has anyone had any luck with any of the assortment of "Ultragauge" like products....Except Scangauge and Ultragauge.?

I've noticed some of the products don't work with Land Rovers...

I have a 2002 Discovery 2 with V8...

Thanks

Torque (pro) with an elm327 OBD adapter might do what you want. My setup seemed to work but maybe was a little slow. I could have just had too many gauges populated. I use it on my other vehicles as an OBD reader.

I have had some luck with the most recent batch of the OBD2 HUD devices from Amazon. Its a bit of a crap shoot, and they don't always connect the way the ultragauge does. Connects if you let it sit an hour or so but if you are in and out quick when you restart it willl not reconnect.

Hi...

Once it connects, does it stay connected? Are you referring to the AUTOOL products? I had bought and tried the X60 and it wouldn't connect, so I gave to a friend with an older Acura...It fired right up.

No, not the Autool, click on the Amazon link. Once conneccted it stays connected. If it does not connect you have to unplug and replug up to 5 times to get it to connect, then it connects. I emailed Autool and even sent them screenshots. They updated their software and the newer versions DO NOT work, but they deny they have a problem and keep going because I am sure the LR customer base is small relative to the TOYNDA world.

The link takes me to "Shankly Oil Pressure Gauge Compression Tester - Mechanical Engine Compression Testing Kit"

I got a response from AUTOOL company...

They say that their products don't work on 2002 Land Rover Discovery 2...

Why not just get the UltraGauge or UltraGauge Blue?

I cannot speak for the ultraguage blue because I have never used one, but the ultragauge is irritating AF with the freaking SES alarms going off every thirty seconds. I managed to get three working Autools before they messed them up and much preferred them as they did not alarm on every SES code.
