scary connector
Hi Gang,
Just put my steering wheel and all those bits back together after some time and I have a multipin connector that does not seem to connect to anything! It is black and has 2 purple leads, one purple/blue and one white (4 total) from the back of it.
Can anyone help? I pulled the dash apart looking for the other end to connect but now I am hoping it's a spare unused piece.
Thanks

RE: scary connector
Greeting, it could be a DLC(diagnostic link connector) for the BCU only. I have the same on my '99 Disco. My problem is that I can't find the OBD connector for other parts. But it might besomething elsebecause it seems that the european modells are a bit different related to connectors.
Or another hint, If your disco is not full option, it could be a connector provided for some extra option. Check out the fuse and relay box( under the wheel on the left side) it has connectors on both sides some of them unused(as I said according to the modell). These devices are different according to the options.
All the best from Transylvania and sorry for my poor english.
