Sea foam treatment
Read several threads about the Seafoam treatmrnt. Use it often on my motorcycles and mowers . What is the deal with the LRs. I have just bought an01 Discovery 2 with 80k on it.
The deal with LR's is that the guy who owned it before you most likely didnt use premium gas and has caused ALOT of carbon build up inside the combustion chambers.
Not to mention that the engine that LR uses is very ineffcient in the cumbustion process and tends to carbon up even when using premium gas. Although not as bad.
SO...Seafoam helps to break loose all of that carbon and helps keep the engine running smoother.

Will.
Do you have any service history on the truck, are you fairly mechanical? If so, I can walk you thru a few things you may want to look at with your new truck to get the most performance from it and keep it running for years.

i have no complaints about how it runs, just asking if it is worth doing on a regular basis. What is the 'treatment' process with the Seafoam? Is it just adding it to the gas tank?
