I had great luck with having 3 O2 sensor codes removed right after using it through the induction.

I will admit, "giving you the opportunity" was a poor choice of words, but I still can't think of a better one because I never specifically requested more information. However, I feel the desire for more information was pretty obvious. I also can't help but notice that the lack of information still exists as do the snarky comments, which I don't fully understand because I never attacked you, insulted your intelligence, or implied that you were lying or didn't know what you were talking about. I rather reasonably stated that I simply hadn't seen any information to back up what you were saying, and so far I still haven't. Only two success stories to the contrary of what you're saying in this thread.

So, Frank, I'm still trying to reserve judgement and if you have any first hand stories ir actual data you can provide, please share them.

Hey man, nobody cares if YOU are convinced of anything OR if you continue to use Seafoam.

And everyone likes snark.

I've used it on my gas tank, no issues; did my truck run better? ...I sure like to think so, and try to use it every 5K miles or so.

Now, I was tempted to use it to "clean" my engine, but opted instead for "Motor Medic", basically because you run it for only 5 minutes and drain it; it felt much safer than having "Seafoam" run in there for a couple hundred miles.

Yes,many people do recommend "Seafoam"; yes, it does not seem to damage or ruin your truck; but still, you do not want to be that guy and truck that does get damage by it.

But I will try it in my next oil change, just for comparison reasons with "Motor Medic".

Good luck! ;-]#

Obviously SOMEBODY cares as the original post was seaking advice about Seafoam.

And MOST people like snark until it verges on being a d%^k. Especially when it is to someone who has contributed more to this forum than most.

I would write more, but I'm busy putting Seafoam in my saltwater reef tank...

I'm going to recommend Decaf
The guy asked a simple question, you don't have to be a Richard Cranium. Just don't answer.

I answered his question, you engaged me. Think about this thread next time you grab a can of Seafoam.

I engaged you because you said it doesn't work. I had O2 codes removed because of using it. I don't have to think about this thread next time...well unless you are having a sale and I can get it for less that $6 a bottle.

Amazon has it for $78.48/case of 12. Think that works out to around $6.50/can. Probably the cheapest you can find it. Have at it man.

I have run a couple of cans of it through my gas tank and never noticed any difference. I have also used the fuel system cleaner product from BG Products, 44K, and noticed a huge improvement. It is expensive though.
