Default seat switch

my seat switch went bad or so i thought, and so i took it apart and tried to fix it, very bad idea haha. as i opened the inside up ball bearings fell out everywhere and so i just ordered a new one. while it was hooked up though the seat would only move horizontally, and thats it, it does the same thing on the new one i bought( it was used though) is there fuses anywhere for the seat i looked in teh manual and it didnt say, so i was curious if it was another bad switch or a fuse or soemthin.

thanks

man I just had the same things happen to me, I would say you got another bad switch, there aren't fuses for it, if a new switch doesn't do it then it would be the motor, but i would bet 99% that it is the switch.
my $0.02

what rover do you have?

My 96 Disco has 4 fuses under the driver seat, that control seat functions.
