Default Secondary Air Injection adapters - do I need new ones?

In the middle of a HG job on my 2000 D2. The Rave manual says to discard the SAI adapters and fit new ones. But they're like $55 each! Is it necessary to put new ones on?

reused mine. Just don't put them in too tight. Use anti-seize on them - that gold paste.

Usually the problem is that these move when you are taking off the large bolt on the SAI pipes. You need a crow's foot to keep them in place.

Maybe putting them back in tight is good. Just don't break them.
