Hey Ed, Just general maintenance....if something breaks or noise etc....just someone that can be trusted to do work, rather than go to a dealer and get ripped off....I use to use LR of Milford, CT...I had a 60K service completed....then within 500 miles I had a Cyl #6 misfire message...I had a bad spark plug wire....so questioned why they were not replaced during my 60K. "it was not called for"...ok, so how much for the replacement...plan on paying $1000 is what I was quoted for wires/labor, because half the engine is taken apart to access and over 8 hrs of work !...WHAT THE HECK?...anyways took it to my local shell mechanic... and he called me back after 2hrs and said that it was completed at a cost of $200 ! big difference...called LR and they said if not OEM parts, you will have problems.....I said I can have them replaced 5 times before the cost one one time with you....anyways...long story....but need a qualified mech close to Danbury, CT

im not sure what you drive i think its a D2 but you should put your truck info in your signature. any mechanic with half a brain should be able to help you. i wouldn't go to a dealer for anything. you can bring as much info you have to us and we can help you diagnose most problems so before you go to your regular mechanic he knows what you need. im not close enough to drive up and help you but you will find this forum very useful. what plugs and wires did you have installed? what mileage is on your truck? what year is it?
