Default Self Installed Lift

Alright guys, Im putting on my own 2" Terrafirma Lift kit and i ran into a bit of a problem.. I can't get enough separation between the axle and the frame to fit the spring in.. any suggestions?

Use your bottle jack on the axle and jack up on the bump stop.

Watch the Brake lines to make sure you don't snap them.

I already tried this and the brake lines almost snapped.. i can't figure out which bolts to unscrew to take the brake caliper off
or any way to take pressure off of the brake lines..

Crazy, I've installed 2 OME lifts and never removed the brake calipers or disconnected the sway bars. I guess I got lucky...8

Never done a DII just RRC's and the 110. Never removed much of anything, I figured the DII might be a bit different. Either way better safe than sorry.

My OME went on using the bottle jack method but my TF needed the bottle jack and the outer spring compressors from oreillys. Only need it on the front passenger side.

It's all done now! in the rear I just stretched the hell out of my break lines but in the front I went ahead and disconnected the drive shaft just to be safe. thanks for the help guys
