I'm curious why Dave Ramsey says to sell your Disco.

Is it because you still have a note on it or because it is a money pit?

That or if it's just a toy and not a daily driver, sell it to payoff other debt. All of the above would be within the realm of his typical recommendations for getting out of debt and cleaning up personal finances.

And another thing, there's always buyers for your Disco (or anything else you're selling); you just have to find out what they're willing to pay!

All of the above is pretty much it. Dave Ramsey didn't literally tell me to get rid of the truck; But, it's mostly just an extra vehicle for me, so it's hard to justify having a payment on it when it's not a daily driver. Plus, I'm trying to get into an expensive graduate school, so my wife and I are just cutting down the unnecessary debt before I start. I dropped the price down to 8K yesterday and got a call. We'll see where it goes.
