Ok so this week after going back to school i have learned that we will not be able to afford the gas on the land rover. 13mpg just isn't doing it. we are trading in for a saab. but i noticed that as soon as i thought about selling it the bumper mysteriously breaks and the horn randomly starts going off. my question is does anyone know where to buy a bumper cover (looked everywhere in little rock and online couldn't find one. the horn at 3am keeps going off as if its on like a timer does anyone know why and if so how can i fix it. I feel like the ghost of land rover is out to get me for selling but gas is just way to much these days for it to be a commuter.

 

good used bumper covers go for almost as much as new ones, have you tried Paul Grant.
If he doesn't have anything try Jason at lucky8 he has a steel aftermarket bumper in the $500 range.

don't worry about the horn if your trading it, all its going to do is wake up the security guard on the lot.

 

If money is tight, don't trade the Disco, sell it out right or you will take a hugh beating.

 

And unplug hood alarm switch.

 

I am with Mike. if you trade you might get a 1500. depending on the lot. You might be able to sell outright in your area for 3-5K just a thought

 

When i meant i trade i meant sell should have been more specific we own a small used dealer and im trading out one of our saabs for the land rover. but what should i ask for a disco 2 se7 without ace but everything else i know kbb says 6500 not sure if i would get that i only payed 3500 at auction for it
