Selling my 04 disco
Well 11500 is for the buyers to decide and that's what I want for it. Like I said around here they go anywhere around 7 13 thou. And most of then can't even produce a single service record. Not that I don't like the truck my original post is more out of frustration with all the small things that come up. Anyone else reading this post that wants a disco or any other Landrover should know all the problems these things have most times even before they are due for maintenance. It's just a big information board. And I won't be upset if I don't sell it for the right price ill just keep it and deal with it
I don't think you'll get $11,500 CAD for it. Even in overpriced Toronto.
People are worried about paying for housing.
And, drinks at Jump.
Plus 1/2 of the paycheck in Toronto goes to taxes.
Anyone who can afford to buy a new car - of any kind in Canada - is rich.
Well, maybe you will get $11,500 for it.
I would not pay that for it.

Spike the value of the Canadian $ is barely a few dollars less than our USD.
$11,500 Canadian = $11,506.68 USD. It MAY be possible that the overall value of the vehicle is greater in Canada..... but I doubt it. Its still a old truck with a complicated V8 engine.
XE: (CAD/USD) Canadian Dollar to US Dollar Rate

No way in hell I'd buy a DII let alone pay that much for one.
Well I know it's a bit high but if someone really wants it we can always negotiate something it's not like I don't like the truck maybe ill give it some more chances winter is coming and it is fun to drive in deep snow
The value of the Canadian dollar isn't involved here, it is simply that vehicles ALWAYS get more money in Canada. 11.5 there is like 9k car here, maybe less. Still a tad high but whatever.
