Selling old cats for scrap
Unless you have a good relationship with a scrap metal guy, you're going to get very little for your cats. While they are not what they were worth during the summer of 2008 when Rhodium was trading at $10,000 an ounce (it's now down to a little more than a tenth of it's high) you'll find the price will vary from region to region and from scrap yard to scrap yard. If you just have a pair and you walk into a scrap yard with them and they offer you anything above $150/pr. consider yourself fortunate.
I'll vouch for Adam. His prices are hard to beat.
