series one brake system (pressure reducing valve)
hello all,
just got back from out of town. decided to take the rover out to play at a construction site near home and got it really nice and muddy!!! after cleaning some of the engine bay i noticed some paint that had been stripped under the brake master cylinder area on the inner engine bay/fender well. looks to be leaking brake fluid (the stripping agent)from the"pressure reducing valve"that is slightly in front of the master/servo unit the rover has. basically if it is a steel line i'll make a new one, but if it is theunit itself is a rebuild kit available and is it fairly straightforward a job?? never had one on another car i've owned. so what is it for and what does anyone know about it????
