So I finally bought a new serpentine belt and went to install it, man what a pain. I had to print the pics that I posted to help someone else so that I could see the belt routing, and then to do it in the dark garage.
I had my drop light but still...it was dark.
I took the pic and folded the paper and stuck it in the owners manual for future referance.
But hey, the sqeak is gone.

 

What did you have to remove to replace the belt? Not that it matters now, but there is a picture on AB's site that shows how to route it with and without ACE. Where is it in the RAVE cd? I came across it once, but searches for serpentine belt yeild no results. It's called auxillary belt or something arcane like that and wasn't in the engine section.

 

I have a '97 so I dont have ACE, I didnt have to remove anything, just the removable part of the fan shroud.

Nice, thanks ChiefII. I remember finding that while looking in the workshop manual, not on the RAVE cd. Sometimes I can find things easier flipping through that big book than scrolling on my monitor.
