Go to your local AutoZone (or any auto supply store) and then ask for an OBD2 scan (check engine code reader) and get the codes. Write them down and get back with us!! Mike will know what to do!

What year is your truck and how many miles on it?
Get the code numbers and get back to us.

Take it into the dealer and have them deal with the fault code that is showing and ask them do do your service at the same time.

thanks Mike ... I'll call Monday and set it up ... I'm not used to Rover treatment they come pick up the truck leave me a loaner to drive then either bring it back (cleaned and detailed) or I can go pick it up is this normal Or did I get a really good dealer ???
Hell when I drove up to check that the recalls were done I pulled in and they washed and detailed the truck while I was in checking on it, they even printed the entire service history out for me

Nice to hear there are a few dealers out there taking care of the clients.

Well of course all the "loaners" were in use ...We drove 30 miles up to drop it off the Tuesday night , They had it all day Wednesday, they called at 9:00 All that was wrong was the gas cap ...Or so they thought got 20 miles away and guess what popped back on ...

Run by the local parts store and have it read. Let us know what it is. I have my finger on a P1496. I had to get 2 new gas caps. My filler neck keeps dropping below the opening and popping off the cap. Dealer wants to replace my tank.

Well they came and picked it up (I was at work) Of course No loaners available , but "We'll have it back before quitting time" ... Purge Valve was stuck , they replaced test drove it reset the codes hopefully all is well , Of course they missed quitting time by an hour + so far (On it's way back)
