Default Service Engine Light question

Service Engine Light popped on last night (2001 Discovery II, 83,000 miles). AutoZone test indicates a P0307 code. I really cannot feel anything different in the way it runs, no missing, etc. I read posts stating the problem could be plug, wire, coil. I read what seemed the standard procedure for replacing coils involves removing the intake manifold (scary). My experience with faulty COPs was my F250. One faulty coil alone caused a very noticeable miss/engine stutter which I do not feel with my LR. I would appreciate any suggestions for what to check or do first? Thanks in advance for advice.
