Default Service Engine Soon Light w/Driveline vibe

I was driving my 01 Disco II the other night when my service engine light came on and then started blinking repeatedly. I popped the hood and could not recognize anything unusual besides coolant levels being a little low. I filled the coolant to proper level and nothing happened. When the truck sits still the engine light stays on, but when I accelerate, it starts to blink and there appears to be a vibration when it is under power. It acts like it struggles trying to accelerate. There are no fluid pools under the truck and no unusual noises coming from the truck. I would love to avoid the hassle and money of sending it in to get fixed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever you do stop driving your truck ASAP.
If you had read your owners manual, your engine is going thru severe misfirse and you could damage it more by driving.
Do you have any way to borrow a scanner and get the codes read?
You might want to call me and I will walk you thru what you need to do.

I agree, you obviously have a severe misfire under load, you will damage your catalytic converters if you continue driving this way, and possibly more. Get it checked out immediately, the most common things are plugs and wires. Good luck!
