service light comes on and off
Need Help : With 2001 discovery /service lignts comes on /had it checked said something about 4th gear. had transmission fluid changed/ had light turned off.came back on again I went thru this serveral times. lignt went off vehcile runs fine and shifts fine. just drove 3000 miles across country light would come on and stay on then go off for awhile then go back on the code was 0734 I think.pleasehelp / Ed

Most likely your MAF iss failing, a 734 code is one of 3 that will show up when this happens.
Do you run a K&N air Filter, if so remove it and go back to paper. If you run a paper filter, how often do you change it?
