My SES light doesn't light up for the start up check, is there anyway to test the light? all other cluster lights pop on during the start up check. I live in an emissions area and will fail inspection if the SES doesn't light up at start. Any pointers on where to start and where to go from for diagnosing the light issue? Not as worried about codes yet, being as if the light doesn't work even with zero codes I will still get popped with a fail. Thanks

 

Have you checked the bulb itself, or for tape over the bulb to keep the light from being visible?
