severe rocking on td5

Default severe rocking on td5

ace light on disco td5......my problem is the ace warning light is on and i have intermittant excess violent rocking from side to side with clunking noise on it. it has been suggested the only way to rectify is to convert to anti-roll system..any thoughts pls?x

Well, you gotta find out why the ACE system is lit up...now when you say rocking, are you talking about in the corners or stationary or driving straight?

driving straight and or slowing down. clunking then literally rocking!

You got problems with the ACE rams .. and from what I read on here it's expensive and hard to find a shop willing to work on it .. I think it's a really hard job

You gonna make sure to stop leaks before they start .. my rams don't leak after almost 25 years .. reasons why

1) Hydrolic Fluid Only - NEVER use ATF fluid ... don't even take a chance on streering fluid unless it's Hydro marketed as Streering ..
2) Pressure Washing - Clean and Dry ..

If my ACE rams go .. I don't know if it's worth it ..
