The 80 axles use bigger R&P, front is 8.8" and the rear is 9.5" the cv's are 1.5" bigger than the LR's, the axle shafts are the same as a Dana 60, the stock ratio is 4.11, better brakes, full floating axles and can turn 37"s with zero issues stock.
I didn't take this picture special for this post, and my measurements are from a few months ago, because I don't have the disco with me at work, but I'm at 21.5 in the front and 22 in the back, the last time I measured, if I did it accurately. My tires are 255/85R16, if you need that info for comparing wheel well gap in another photo.
Do you have to run different wheels on the truck because of the bolt pattern?
nice, sorry if you mentioned it, but how much wider/narrower are the FZJ axles when all said and done?
I am running stock suspension, 18.75" in the front, 19" even in the back. Looks like I'm down an inch up front, but the rear springs are holding at factory spec.

I have the money set aside for a winch bumper, sliders and 2" springs. We have been looking for something new for my wife and then I will start the build on this truck. hopefully by end of spring, first of summer
