The links Spike give are the best around, the only one I will add is www.dap-inc.com

Another thing I would add is, when looking for a lift, do not be fooled by the 2" spacers, even though they are cheap, they are a waste of money and not worth your time. If you are going to do a lift do it right. Tons of guys on here can direct you to the best products. We literally just had a guy try spacers... a few days later, they are listed in the classifed section. (BTW: You can find lift kits and suspension stuff at most of the top rover sites Spike listed..)

Buy your pads from Atlantic British, JC Whitney will sell you some real squeakers.
Old Man Emu for your suspension, you can pick from 4 different coil sets depending onm your needs.
If you are in Colorado, PM me your number and I'll call you.

Camdisco24 doesn't lie....he's talking bout me.

I had those spacers on for 4 weeks and couldn't stand them. They will only work if you get longer rear shocks. thats the only reason I got rid of them. the rear shocks just kept over extending going over bumps and stuff and i don't want to buy longer shocks.I'd get an OME set and do it right. Lesson learned.

I did love the ride height and the way she looked...but that was it. the front handled FINE. I didn't get that top heavy feel like others talk about, but maybe that's because my suspension isn't THAT old.

BUT while doing the install i did find that all for shocks are shot. so Discovery's with more than 60k miles with stock shocks should change them out! I wonder how long they have been like that?

Peace

When you said all 4 shocks were shot what were the symptoms / problems? Leaking? Losing rebound?

Well, if pushing up all 4 shocks with one finger means they still work like brand new then they are still good.

But they literally can be pushed all the way up with ONE finger. one or two had slight more resistance but none the less up they went.

I have NO symptoms, no leaking, i don't think i've lost rebound. I hope my rear shocks weren't damaged by being over extended for 4 weeks with those spacers. It drives great still but i just suspect that new shocks, whether stock or aftermarket would greatly improve ride quality and performance on and off road.

Interesting they carry Wagner rotors but not pads.
I've been using pads from NAPA and most recently Wagner pads from O'Reilly Auto parts, with no issues.

Ive been looking around on Rovertym and Wow, Im really into getting the 3" suspension Lift kit, 1,385 bucks though...but it sounds like a really set up in the kit.

As for the brakes i think im just gonna go with a a set of Geniune Land Rover brakes from atlantic british.

Also can i keep some help with the Idle Air Control Valve, Is this the same as the Mass Air Intake valve?

Thanks jycsalas. As you can see from my sig my truck of the same year as yours is pushing 60k and I definitely notice the shocks don't dampen very well anymore but I didn't see any issue externally so I just want to check with you. Well I guess I'll need to wait a while before shelling out another $400 plus whatever for installation.
