Default Should I?

I'm replacing my head gaskets this week. Was happy to see that the heads and valves were good, minus a little work.

I got them back from the machine shop on Friday and all I'm waiting on is to order my parts.

While I have it apart, should I go ahead and replace the water pump? My DII has 135,000, and it still has the original pump.

Anything else I should do while I'm at it?

Water pumps have a bad habit of crapping out right after you put everything back together.

X2 with Bundu. I would do the pump. Especially the gasket for it. I need to do mine this summer. Replace the serp belt also while your at it. Cheap for new belt.

Make sure you replace the t/stat, plug wires, coolant pressure cap, change over to either the yellow or green coolant and add either a bottle of Purple Ice or Water Wetter.
If you want a good deal on the gasket set as well as the other parts, go to my signature section and contact Will per his link.
