Default Should I, buy that 2004 Disco... ??

I've been looking a while for a 2nd SUV. Had a 03 Disco before and traded it for a VW Toureg.

I located a 2004 SE with 42K. Dealer inspected and did a 45K service. They're also replacing the rotors and pads plus the wipers.

The vehicle is in very nice condition and has anew set of tires Toyos. Interior is good. Everything works.

I can get it with a 2yr / 25k LR warranty for$13,750.

Should I push for a replacement on the front u-joints ???

Thanks for your replies !!!

Yes, you should ask for replacment of the front u-joints with greasable ones!
And you may want to see if you can get the price down a bit, but that is a fairly good price with milage and all.
2004 is the best year of the disco.
And FYI, you must use PREMIUM gas.

Good luck, let us know if you have any more questions!

Sounds like a good deal. Find out the details of the warranty before you buy it. Most extended warranties only cover parts that will so if they part doesn't actually fail you are stuck either living with it until it does fail or pay to replace it out of your pocket.

Definitely push to have greasable u-joints in the front shaft.
