So I have located a 2 owner 2004 Disco SE with 85k miles. The vehicle lived in sunny CA for the first 6 years of its life. CarFax is clear and appears to have been regularly maintained... It is cosmetically very clean. Owner says it has no leaks or noises.

I can pick this LR up for $6900 - should I? What else should I ask about?

 

My guess from the sounds, yes. Without seeing it or driving it, it's hard to say. Get photos, check for HGs and random stuff. That's a deal though

 

Best thing you can do is get a pre purchase inspection but its a good price.

 

I am having trouble confirming whether it is an SE (as stated) or an S as it appears... There is no wood trim on the dash/doors and upholstery looks like it could be vinyl.
I found another with 78k miles that I can buy for $7400 ~ definately an SE (same 2004 year). The color isn't my absolute favorite. CarFax on this one checks out too and looks to have had complete and thorough service.

Actually, I just figured something out. The first one that is Bonatti Grey is a Westminster Edition. It is lacking the burlwood on the dash - but I can't tell what it is. It is a grey color... anyone know the specs of the 2004 Westminster? It has the badge on the back and the different three sided wheels.
